Hampshire care home owners acquire second business
Care home owners Sally and David Price have purchased the freehold of White Rock Nursing Home in Barton-on-Sea, Hampshire. The pair own another care home in Hampshire, as well as a domiciliary care agency.
White Rock is a 30-registered care home with 24 bedrooms which specialises in dementia care.
Siobhan Dodd, director at White Rock Nursing Home, said: “White Rock has been an integral part of our family since we opened the care home in 1971 and it has been a very hard decision to sell, but we felt the time was right to retire from the sector and hand the business onto a new owner. We are delighted that Sally and David will be taking over the care home and with their experience in the care sector we are confident the home is in safe hands.”
The sale was facilitated by business property advisor Christie and Co, with funding sourced through Christie Finance.
Sally Price said: “As local residents, David and I have been aware of White Rock Nursing Home for a number of years and, when approached by Christie & Co to see if we would be interested in purchasing it, we were immediately very interested. We already own one care home and also a domiciliary care agency in Hampshire and believe there will be great synergies among our businesses.”
White Rock Nursing Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
