MHA Brockworth House in Gloucester has appointed a new home manager.
Lyndsey Dixon, who has more than 10 years’ experience of managing a nursing home, aims to use her knowledge and experience to bring stability and a sense of community to MHA Brockworth House.
Previously she has worked as an oncology nurse, studied for a degree in palliative care and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in advanced clinical practice.
MHA Brockworth House provides nursing dementia care for 52 people.
Dixon said she was keen to raise the profile of the home and “make a mark” in the community.
“The values of MHA are similar to my personality, so I felt working for a charity was the right option for me,” she said. “I have joined MHA Brockworth House to make a difference, I want to be here for a long time and hope to work with and be part of the community.”
