Carers Week is set to take place from 10th to 16th June 2024. Carers Week is an annual awareness campaign to celebrate and recognise the vital contribution made by the UK’s 5.7 million carers. This week will focus on spreading awareness about the challenges carers face and ensuring right steps are taken to support their needs.
The theme for this year’s Carers Week is ‘Putting Carers on the Map‘ . This time Carers Week will celebrate the unpaid carers and make sure they are seen as well. This Week will focus on making caring more visible, ensuring that carers feel respected and that they can access the services and support that they need.
