Carterwood to share care home fee data with Caring Times Owners Club
The Caring Times Owners Club has partnered with market analysts Carterwood to offer Club members access to the fees charged by UK care homes.
In a second data-driven collaboration, following its partnership with Care England’s MINT, the Caring Times Owners Club has joined with Carterwood to offer Club members exclusive access to the fees that fellow care providers are receiving.
This partnership offers Owners Club members access to Carterwood’s regional data on the fees charged by care homes to private and local authority residents. This will help the Club’s members to consider their own fees and make adjustments based on the strategies and performance of their peers.
Carterwood, which collects trading data from more than 1,500 health and social care services every year, specialises in commercial market analysis for the elderly care home and retirement living markets.
In 2023, Carterwood launched a new project, Carterwood Collab, offering subscribers a quarterly snapshot into elderly care home trading performance, powered by real trading data. This includes statistics on bed occupancy levels, average weekly fees, funding-mix and average staffing costs.
A finance director at a leading care operator said of Carterwood Collab: “The data will be invaluable for budgeting and will provide additional confidence when benchmarking.”
The Caring Times Owners Club is an exclusive, free-to-access community of care owners and directors in the UK, vetted against Companies House. Members have free access to the online portal which hosts exclusive data from MINT and Carterwood, as well as guides and webinars on everything from capital gains tax to M&A.
The Club also runs in-person workshop and networking events, including the Healthcare Summit in London (28 September) and the Owners Club Midlands at The Belfry (31 October).
Join the Caring Times Owners Club for regional care home fee data, and sign up to Carterwood Collab for access to trading performance data that can help inform and improve your decision-making.
