CareConcepts acquires dementia care home

Private care home owner, CareConcepts has acquired Wythenshawe, Manchester-based Marion Lauder House. a purpose-built which provides nursing, residential and respite/assessment care for dementia patients.

The home also operates a day centre service which offers care, socialisation and activities to people with dementia across the region.

To support the acquisition and further refurbish the home, Shawbrook structured a £4.26 million commercial loan with a five-year commitment period, which included a 12-month capital repayment holiday (as part of a 25-year profile) to assist with cash flow during the transitional period.
