Boutique Care Homes acquires fifth care home site
Boutique Care Homes has acquired a 66-bedroom scheme care home site in Hythe, Kent at at a former Smiths Medical site in partnership with Roddy New Homes, its fifth new home development.
The site had been vacant since the end of 2017, demolition took place in 2018, and the new care home will sit alongside a development of 97 houses on the rest of the site.
Following a reserved matters planning application in the next few weeks, construction on the care home will commence late this year with Boutique Care Homes committing more than £10 million in investment into the local area. The care home will also generate over 70 new jobs.
Ameet Kotecha, managing director of the Boutique Care Homes said: “I am pleased that after much hard work by the team, we have acquired this site to strengthen the group’s presence in Kent. Hythe is a great opportunity for us to continue developing top quality homes, providing the highest-quality care to residents.”
With operational homes in Shepperton Surrey, Newmarket Suffolk and Broadstairs Kent, Boutique Care Homes also recently acquired a fourth site in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.
