Bluebird Care Franchises appoints head of quality and compliance

Virginia Montalban has been appointed as head of quality and compliance across a newly-formed group of five Bluebird Care franchises.

Montalban became a care assistant at Bluebird Care eight years ago and after two years in the field she progressed to an office role in quality assurance. In 2018, Montalban joined Bluebird Care’s franchise support centre as quality manager for London and the East of England where she covered quality and compliance for more than 70 offices.

Montalban said: “The opportunity to provide one-on-one support for each office is exciting. This role is an unmissable chance to craft the gold standard for quality and compliance that can be clearly evidenced at a local level. I have a lifelong passion for home care which is why I’m still on team Bluebird after eight years. Slough also owns the Richmond & Twickenham branch of Bluebird Care alongside business partner Tim Rowland-Jones who runs franchises in Bristol and Bath.
