Home care provider Bluebird Care Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire launched this week to provide the city and surrounding areas with companionship care.

The new Bluebird Care franchise plans to expand into personal care and live-in care in the coming weeks.

Bluebird Care Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire is headed by Minesh Chopra, owner and director, and registered manager Alicia Laurie.

 “It’s never been more important for older people in the community and their families to be given a wide range of options for their essential care,” said Chopra. “High-quality and consistent care at home can be life changing, and through our service we will be able to help more people gain access to that care.”

Registered manager Alicia Laurie will oversee the recruitment of up to 15 team members over the coming weeks. “We are all different, and so our care should be too – we aren’t a one-size-fits-all service,” she said. “We will really get to know every customer and their individual circumstances as well as their family to provide personalised care that’s right for them.”
