Blakeshields sells Trewiston Lodge Nursing Home

A family-run operator which has four other homes in Plymouth and Southeast Cornwall has acquired Trewiston Lodge Nursing Home in St Minver, Wadebridge in Cornwall, which is registered for 32 clients.

The home has been owned and operated by Cornish based operator Blakeshields since 2006.

Stephen Godfrey, director at Blakeshields said: “Trewiston is a really friendly home and we wish the buyers every success in this chapter of its journey.”

Business property advisor Christie & Co facilitated the sale. Simon Harvey, senior director, care at Christie & Co, said: “This is the second care home we have sold in Cornwall in as many months and, along with other ongoing activity generally, this is further evidence of the appetite that exists across the county and the wider region from a range of purchasers seeking to acquire care businesses in the Southwest.”

Trewiston Lodge Nursing Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
