Barchester care home in Surrey opens new nursing wing
A new nursing wing has been opened at a Barchester Healthcare care home in Surrey.
Staff and residents along with councillor Brian Black marked the official opening at Windmill Manor Care Home in Oxted.
The Windmill Way wing will offer nursing care alongside the home’s existing dementia care provision.
Ellie Lyons, general manager at Windmill Manor said: “We’re so excited to officially open our new nursing wing which will allow us to help more members of the community here in Oxted that need our care.”
Councillor Brian Black commented: “This is such a fantastic resource, I am delighted to be here to open the new nursing wing. The team here at Windmill Manor do such an amazing job caring for the residents here, I know they will offer wonderful nursing care too.”
Windmill Manor is registered to support up to 60 people with nursing and dementia needs.
