Avery Healthcare launches 29 new care homes
Avery Healthcare Group has commenced management of 29 homes, increasing its portfolio to 99.
The 29 homes, purchased from Signature Senior Lifestyle, will become part of the company’s new luxury brand, Avery Collection.
Lorna Rose, chief executive of Avery Healthcare, said: “We are thrilled to welcome our new residents, their families, general managers, and their skilled teams. The superb standards of care and lifestyle will continue and grow under the new Avery Collection brand. We have received a fantastic welcome from the new homes, and we will work together to continue to grow and succeed as a team as we move into this exciting new chapter together.”
A Signature Senior Lifestyle spokesperson said: “Whilst we are saddened to say goodbye to some much-loved residents, relatives and talented colleagues, our residual portfolio of luxury care homes remains fully committed to providing the same high levels of care, hospitality and other wellbeing services as part of an ongoing bright and shared future together.
“Furthermore, Signature, through its established development platform and pipeline, remains committed to continuing to grow its market leading portfolio of luxury Southeast homes with the much-anticipated opening of Signature at Highgate expected towards the end of 2023.”
Last year 2022, Reuben Brothers announced a long-term strategic partnership with Welltower, and as part of the transaction, Reuben Brothers acquired a majority stake in Avery Healthcare.
David Jr. Reuben said, “This is a milestone transaction which increases our presence in the UK care home sector to over 7500 beds across the country. The transaction further cements our long-term commitment in the senior living care and lifestyle sector – with a clear focus on providing exceptional levels of care and customer service.”
