“Ann’s and Larchwood are working closely with the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority and the regional trusts to ensure a smooth migration of the operations of the homes and we’re both fully committed to ensuring a smooth transfer for all stakeholders. There will be no changes to the existing care arrangements in staffing or the team directly involved with the nursing homes, so people in the homes receiving residential and nursing care and their families can be assured of continuity of care. We are committed to maintaining a high standard of living for all residents and look forward to working in collaboration with Larchwood’s existing team to continue to provide the best possible care for all residents.”

Business property advisor Christie & Co facilitated the sale,

Martin Gould, head of brokerage, care at Christie & Co, who handled the sale, comments, “This deal also follows on from other notable care portfolio transactions in Northern Ireland over the last two years, which we believe aptly highlights the strength of the local market and the high interest levels good operators have to invest into the care sector”.
