Agincare has opened nominations for its annual awards ceremony honouring outstanding care and support workers.

Launched in 2021, The Agincare Heroes Awards champion the extraordinary impact care workers have had on the lives of the people they support and care for.

Agincare founder Derek Luckhurst said: “Our care workers are the lifeblood of Agincare. They are hard-working men and women who provide care and support to thousands of people in over 85 Agincare locations nationwide.

“We continue to invest heavily in the training and development of our teams so that they can deliver the high-quality care that has built our excellent reputation over many years. Please tell us about the outstanding stars of Agincare that have made a real difference in your life, that of a loved one, or work colleague.”

Agincare team members can be nominated for an Agincare Heroes Award by anyone that wishes to recognise their achievements. This could be someone who draws on Agincare’s services, their family and friends, health and social care professionals, or a work colleague.

After the nominations window closes on Friday 15 March, Raina Summerson, Agincare chief executive, will lead a panel of expert judges to review nominees and offer recommendations to Derek Luckhurst who will make a final selection of the winners.
