Care managers gathered in Birmingham today for a fun day of CPD, entertainment and recognition.

The fantastic first day of the free Care Managers Show, run by Nexus Media Group, gave managers the opportunity to access packed sessions across five stages, with topics ranging from understanding the CQC Single Assessment Framework to leadership skills, dementia care, and recruitment and retention.

Record numbers of delegates downloaded CPD certificates recognising their attendance at sessions.

On the entertainment stage attendees were treated to sessions of musical bingo with the chance to win a holiday, and danced along to 90s boyband 5ive, who thanked the crowd for the great job they do.

The winners of the Care Heroes awards were presented with their certificates during the show.
