Kingsley Healthcare acquires Surrey home
Kingsley Healthcare has acquired Eliza Palmer Care Home in Hersham, Surrey from The Whiteley Homes Trust.
Eliza Palmer is a new purpose-built luxury home offering nursing, residential and respite care which becomes Kingsley’s 37th care home.
Kingsley’s founder and co-chief operating officer Sumi Thayan said: “We are excited to be taking over this impressive care home that is held in high esteem by the local community. This has involved delicate and discreet negotiation and we are delighted to have made the acquisition and become part of the Whiteley Village community.
“This latest acquisition comes as we are beginning the celebrations for our 25th anniversary year. It is an exciting period of rapid expansion for the group. By October 2024, we will have opened a further three luxury new-builds, including a state-of-the-art large nursing home in Olney, Buckinghamshire and boutique care homes offering the highest level of comfort and top class facilities in Bedford and Norfolk.
“Already this year, we have opened a luxury 66-bed nursing home in Holt, north Norfolk and an additional site in Suffolk for specialist services.”
Kingsley’s group clinical director Vivian Vuchemtigah, who oversees operations in the South, said: “Eliza Palmer is a great acquisition for Kingsley, complementing our existing luxury homes in Northamptonshire and the Midlands and extending our footprint to a new region.”
Real estate firm Savills facilitated the acquisition.
