Walfinch welcomes three new franchisees

Three women have started a Walfinch home care franchise covering Hampton, Twickenham and Virginia Water and surrounding areas.

Lyn Leagas, co-managing director with Judith Spencer and Angela Pinto, wanted to work in a sector that made a difference to the local community.

“We’re determined to improve the quality of life for local people, and our new franchise will mean we can turn our commitment into action,” said Leagas, who has a background in logistics, live-in and domiciliary care. Pinto has experience in running her own business and Spencer has home care experience.

“We chose Walfinch because of  The Mum Test,” said Leagas. “Walfinch insists that everyone they recruit should be a person they would like to see looking after their own mums. That, and the fact that fun is one of the Walfinch business values, swung it for us – plus Walfinch chief executive Amrit Dhaliwal’s infectious enthusiasm.”
