Right at Home franchise owner retires

Julie Foote, one of Right at Home’s first franchise owners, is retiring after 13 years.
Foote opened Right at Home East Lancashire and Ribble Valley in 2011, when the brand was new to the UK marketplace. She built the business from a small start-up into a leading provider, with a reputation for quality that has been underpinned by a 10/10 client review score on homecare.co.uk.
Right at Home East Lancashire has been taken over by Richard Burgess, owner of Right at Home Calderdale. After two years of running the franchise, Burgess decided to expand the area he serves by taking on a second territory.
He plans to further strengthen the East Lancashire business by supporting local events in the community, raising funds for charities and creating new job opportunities.
“My first experience with Right at Home was when my local branch supported my father to remain at home after he was diagnosed with dementia,” said Burgess. “The support and care they provided amazed me – every detail was carefully considered to ensure my father received the best quality care possible.”
Foote said: “It is particularly pleasing that in taking retirement, I’ve been able to hand the reins to another Right at Home owner who I know shares my values and commitment to our clients and staff. I look forward to seeing Right at Home East Lancs and Ribble Valley continue to grow and thrive in Richard’s capable hands.”
