Registrations open for Care Sector’s Got Talent

CSGT host, Angela Boxall, congratulates 2024 winner Molly Blackburn

Care Sector’s Got Talent (CSGT), the talent contest for the care sector, has opened registrations for the 2025 competition.

Organised by Championing Social Care, CSGT aims to celebrate talent within the care sector. It is open to residents, care home workers, suppliers, or in-house performers in the sector, with the grand final taking place on 2 April 2025.

Past finalists have included residents from across the country participating as part of choirs and drama groups, and care workers highlighting their culture through performances such as Bollywood dancing. 2024 winner, Molly Blackburn, has received invitations to perform at events including the Care Managers Show (now the Care Management Show). In previous years, CSGT finalists have had opportunities to audition for Britain’s Got Talent.

Entrants should submit a 2-minute video showcasing their talent, whether it’s singing, dancing, music, drama, or comedy, by midday on Friday 11 January.

Previous finalist Mark Arrowsmith said: “I have always found that music and wellbeing stand hand in hand. Often, music can make us recall memories, times in our lives, and most of all, feel emotion. I have used music and in particular singing within my everyday practices when caring for others.”
