Parklands Care Homes has boosted its Highlands management team with three new appointments.

Mel Oliver has bee appointed as deputy manager of Innis Mhor in Tain, while Alexis Le Neven has been recruited as manager of Eilean Dubh. Alana Brown, previously a shift leader at Eilean Dubh, has also joined Parklands’ Training and Development team as a trainer in the region.

Oliver, a well-known figure at Innis Mhor, having worked at the home for eight years, first as a carer and latterly as a shift leader, said: “I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to step up the ladder again in my career. I am overwhelmed with the support and encouragement from fellow workers and friends and family. I feel very lucky and hope to succeed in the new role and look forward to the future.”

Innis Mhor manager Kate Walker said: “I am so pleased to be working with Mel, she is an excellent addition to our management team.”

Le Neven, who has worked as a nurse at Eilean Dubh since it opened in 2021, said:  “Having been here from the beginning, I have met incredible people working around me. It has given me an understanding of the diverse needs of our residents, their families and our dedicated team, and inspired me to continually strive for excellence.”
