Oak Care Home Services buys North Yorkshire care home

Oaklands Care Home in Kirk Hammerton

Jaimon Lukose has purchased Oaklands Care Home in Kirk Hammerton, North Yorkshire from Maria Mallaband Care Group.

Lukose is director of Oak Care Home Services and also a director of Tancred Hall Care Services which operates Peacock Manor Nursing Home in nearby Whixley.

Oaklands is registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide care for up to 44 service users. It has spacious outdoor areas.

Lukose said: “Oaklands Nursing Home has been acquired by Oak Care Home Services Ltd, a company recognised for its commitment to high-quality, person-centred care. A representative from Oaklands expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, stating: ‘We are thrilled to incorporate this home into our portfolio and are eager to deliver exceptional dementia care for the residents of Kirk Hammerton and North Yorkshire.’ The new ownership intends to initiate a refurbishment phase. This effort is expected to yield substantial advantages for the local community by offering superior care to the elderly.”

Oaklands Care Home was sold for an undisclosed price.
