Newmore Capital purchases two homes

Delaheys Nursing Home and Lindisfarne Care Home have been sold to Newmore Capital.

Lindisfarne Care Home in Haworth

Before this, Newmore Capital consisted of two care homes, but due to the rapidly expanding care home sector, it decided to expand operations. Newmore Capital was attracted to the two acquisitions due to the two homes’ reputations within their respective areas; both Delaheys Nursing Home and Lindisfarne Care Home boast high occupancy levels and were rated ‘good’ on their most recent CQC inspections.

Delaheys Nursing Home, located in the Lancashire town Lytham St Annes, was established by the previous family owners in 1990. The nursing home is registered for 28 residents.

Lindisfarne Care Home, situated in Haworth in West Yorkshire, has been operated by the previous owners for over 25 years and is registered for 34 residents.

It has been a pleasure working with our client and an excellent result for all involved,” said Delaheys Nursing Home healthcare broker Asif Musa. “I wish my client all the best with their retirement.”

Redwoods Dowling Kerr advised on the sale.

After a successful marketing process which resulted in multiple interested parties, I’m thrilled to have assisted the vendors of Lindisfarne in the sale of their care home,” said healthcare broker for Lindisfarne Care Home Sam Fazackerley. “The vendors have worked tirelessly over the years to provide a quality care service which I am positive under the new ownership will go from strength to strength. I want to wish both Jayne and Toni all the best for the future and every success in their new ventures.”
