New look for Fulcrum as care consultancy turns five

Care home management consultants Fulcrum Care celebrated their fifth anniversary with a new brand launch with clients, suppliers and partners.

The event, held on 23 May at the Savage Garden rooftop bar, London, marked the consultancy’s achievements and growth, particularly during and following the challenges of the pandemic, as well as celebrating the resilience of the sector over the past two years.

With a core mission of ‘We help care’, Fulcrum Care offer a full range of consultancy and care home management support across England, Scotland and Wales.

During the unique challenges of the pandemic, Fulcrum developed its business through finding innovative solutions to relieve NHS pressures, introducing nimble and lifesaving Infection Prevention and Control measures at care facilities and helping care homes to avoid closure and protect their residents.

Since the start of 2021, Fulcrum Care has continued to grow its support for social care, including: 

  • 150+ care homes helped to meet compliance targets
  • 112+ care home providers supported 
  • 18+ professional care consultants employed
  • 16+ care homes saved from urgent closure
  • 10+ care management teams onboarded to a digital Quality Management System.

Fulcrum Care’s chief executive Tony Thiru, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be able to celebrate five years of care home consultancy, particularly as only half of all companies reach this milestone. I’d like to thank the dedication and commitment of our team — as well as the resilience of the care sector as a whole — for helping us to continue providing expert care support where it’s needed most.

“During the coronavirus pandemic, it was vital that everyone increased their efforts to protect the health and care sectors across the UK. This often required creative and cost-effective ways to adapt to complex challenges. I’m pleased to say that we were able to give the strength and support that our care home clients needed during that time – and we will continue to develop new ways to help care home providers, owners and managers recover and improve their ratings and the quality of care they can offer residents.

“Our new logo and website branding is a reflection of that growth, giving Fulcrum a bold and modern look that better matches the direction of our consultancy and the full range of services we can now offer our care home clients.”

Fulcrum Care recently appointed award-winning care professional, Karen Johnson, as head of quality assurance, to give direction to planned projects and strategies for care home support.
