Macc Care group has celebrated being rated one of the top mid-sized care groups in the country.

The West Midlands care provider was listed among Top 20 Mid-size Care Groups 2024 by reviews website carehome.co.uk

The award is based on Macc Care’s review score as of 31 January 2024, which is calculated using a combination of the number of reviews and the average ratings received across all of the group’s homes.

In one commendation, a niece of a resident at Dora Rose said: “After a short hospital stay, it was stated that our uncle required palliative care. We knew immediately that Dora Rose was where we wanted him to be cared for and our uncle trusted my judgement as a retired nurse. We had visited the home previously and were very impressed with many factors: cleanliness, care, staff interaction and quality of activities organised for residents.

 “Our uncle was treated with respect, dignity and kindness. His needs were met and he was in a safe environment. The staff, of all grades, were attentive, professional and polite, making our whole family feel welcome. The office and management team communicated well and always in a timely manner allowing a smooth admission during a difficult time. We would highly recommend Dora Rose, to any family trying to find the ‘right accommodation’ for their loved one.”
