The 2019 Care Sector Ball looks set to raise its target £250,000 for the Alzheimer’s Society and The Care Workers Charity, with more than 50 different care sector organisations now signed up to support the annual event.

More than 500 people will attend the glittering fundraising event in The Great Room at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Saturday 28th September.

Supporters already confirmed include; CareTech and CareTech Foundation who are the lead supporters, Coate Water Care, Welltower, Lawrence Baker, Majesticare, and ihl uk.

The special event, kick-started last year by Hallmark Care Homes’ chair and chair of Care England Avnish Goyal, will be hosted by MC and original Stig Perry McCarthy, and will this year feature a silent auction and a live auction hosted by Jonny Gould.

Throughout the evening, guests can also enjoy a four-course meal, open bar and live entertainment.

Speakers at the event will include; Care Tech Foundation chief executive Jonathan Freeman; Alzheimer’s Society chief executive Jeremy Hughes, and Care Workers Charity chief executive Richard Muncaster; all of whom will discuss the incredible impact this event has on the sector as a whole.

“After last year’s successful launch event where we raised £145,000, we are incredibly excited to be hosting the second dedicated charity event for the care sector,” said Avnish Goyal.

“The fun-filled event will help key charities that care providers and industry suppliers have an invested interest in supporting. It will also be a fabulous networking opportunity for all, as well as an opportunity to support the great work of Alzheimer’s Society and The Care Workers Charity so that they can continue to support people living with dementia and provide financial support to care workers who have fallen on hard times.”
