Home care service expands into new office
Bluebird Care East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft has opened a new office in Gorleston-on-Sea.
The move will create 30 jobs as the home care service looks to grow its team of care experts and administrative team members.
Kerry Hobbs, director at Bluebird Care East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft, was inspired to start the service after supporting her own grandparents with their care. The team, led by registered manager Deena Malvin, will deliver services including domiciliary and companionship care, live-in and respite care, and night care.
“I know from experience how difficult it can be navigating the different care options available, and so I’m pleased to be able to make this journey easier for people in the local community,” said Hobbs. “The wider Great Yarmouth area means so much to me and my family is all still based here too – so when the opportunity came to bring our services to Gorleston-on-Sea I didn’t think twice.”
