Hampshire care home sold after 18 years of ownership

Little Brook House care home in Warsash, South Hampshire has been sold to Regent and Imperial Care Ltd.

Little Brook House

Little Brook House, which is registered for 25, offers residential and respite care for the elderly and those living with dementia. It occupies a Grade 2 listed, 17th Century building that has been extended over the years.

Previous owner Linda Scott purchased the property as a trading care home in 2004 and has since upgraded and refurbished the home.

“I have very much enjoyed owning and operating Little Brook House and believe this is an excellent business,” said Scott. “Having had the business for 18 years, I felt the time was right for me to sell and I am delighted to be passing the business over to the new owners who I am sure will be very successful. The home has a great staff team, and I will miss them and the residents.”

Speaking on behalf of Regent and Imperial Care Ltd, director Ranjeev Saluja, commented, “Little Brook House is a lovely business and property and I look forward to getting to know the staff, residents and their families. This is a well-run care home and it is my aim to continue and expand upon the good work Linda has put in over the years.”

“The sale of Little Brook House shows that there is currently very good demand for care homes of all sizes,” added Christie & Co director-healthcare Charles Phillips. “This property is very well presented and trades very successfully. A good level of interest was shown for this home, with our marketing campaign resulting in multiple offers being received.

“We were delighted to have acted for Linda and wish her a relaxing and enjoyable retirement from the sector. With his experience with care homes, we are confident that this will be an ideal purchase for Ranjeev.”

Little Brook House was sold for an undisclosed price.
