Exemplar Health Care’s Dearnevale care home has celebrated a Top 20 care home ranking on reviews website carehome.co.uk.

The care home in in Grimethorpe, Barnsley, has achieved a perfect 10 out of 10 score on the customer reviews website.

The care home, which is also rated Outstanding by the CQC and holds Huntington’s Disease Association accreditation, is specifically designed for adults with complex and high acuity needs. The nurse-led team possesses skills to support individuals with a range of complex conditions, including mental ill-health, Motor Neurone Disease, impairments following a severe stroke, and individuals living with tracheostomies, ventilators, and PEG feeding tubes.

The home features 40 large bedrooms with en-suites split across four 10-bed units, meaning the people supported at the home live in a homely and responsive environment tailored to their individual needs. Dearnevale also boasts communal dining and living spaces, an activities hub, a therapy kitchen, a beauty salon and a spacious accessible garden.
