Long-standing independent commercial finance broker Chandler & Co has recruited Dan Hewitt as a senior broker.

Hewitt was formerly commercial banking relationship director for Cynergy Bank.

The firm is best known for financing businesses in the social care sector. 

Hewitt’s appointment, the company said, gives it greater capacity to support more care businesses and to finance other assets such as hotels, pubs, schools, nurseries and real estate.

Hewitt said: “This is a great opportunity to support more business owners with the funding they need. Cash is the lifeblood for survival or to grow via acquisition or development.

“Chandler & Co are synonymous with funding care homes, being the market leaders in this sector for nearly 30 years.
