Supplier to the care sector Countrywide Healthcare have announced the acquisition of B&M Supplies in Southport.

Richard Hannah, finance director at Countrywide Healthcare commented “We have experienced unprecedented sales growth in the last few years and with the move to our new National Distribution Centre & Head Office, the timing was right to look at acquisition targets. B&M Supplies operate in the same care home sector and with their owner Derek wishing to retire, it was an excellent fit for both parties”.

Sarah Robinson, managing director of Countrywide Healthcare confirmed “By combining our two like-minded cultures, and by building on both of our companies’ strong commitment to serving our customers, B&M’s clients will be in safe hands in the future”.

Aspinwall will be working with the Countrywide team over the next few months to ensure a seamless handover.
