Staff and residents at a care home in Cornwall are celebrating after receiving the best possible food hygiene inspection rating.

The Environmental Health Agency gave Barchester Healthcare’s Falmouth Court Care Home the 5-star rating following an inspection on 14 February.

Haley Reeve-Larson, general manager at Falmouth Court, said: “We are delighted that Falmouth Court was rated 5 stars following the Environmental Health Agency’s most recent inspection.

“The team at Falmouth Court work so hard to ensure the home has the very best hygiene levels so it is wonderful to have everyone’s hard work recognised.”

Falmouth Court provides residential and dementia care for 66 residents, from respite care to long term stays.

The care home was registered with the CQC on 14 January 2022 and is yet to be inspected.
