In a deal believed to be worth more than £160m, Barchester Healthcare has acquired 24 care homes from Brighterkind, formerly part of the Four Seasons Health Care portfolio and owned by private equity company Terra Firma.
The 24 homes, which add 1,570 beds to the Barchester portfolio, were the subject of a legal battle between Terra Firma and Four Seasons creditor H/2 Capital last year. They are expected to transfer to Barchester by early 2020 and are mostly in England with a private pay level believed to be around 60%.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”10px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”31541″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css=”.vc_custom_1574245311467{padding-top: 10px !important;padding-bottom: 10px !important;}”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1536940576920{padding-top: 20px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_column_text][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] ')} [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
