ArmsCare to run Norfolk care home

ArmsCare

ArmsCare has taken over the running and management of Driftwood House in Hunstanton, Norfolk. following the retirement of Roy and Muriel Kent on 15 August.

Home manager Steph Durham and her team will continue to run the home with added support from ArmsCare’s operations director Trina Skevington and the company’s local network of home managers.

ArmsCare stated its priority is to engage with the Care Quality Commission to reinstate a Good rating for the home, as well as improve occupancy to a viable level.

Aman Sehgal, director of ArmsCare said: “After a two-year pause during Covid, ArmsCare has taken the decision to invest locally to expand and support the number of local care beds. The care market is facing challenging times in terms of funding and staffing, but we know that we have excellent support from our local authority as well as Norfolk Care Association to develop the market to meet local needs. We are thoroughly excited by the opportunities that lay ahead.
