BREAKING NEWS: Caring Times appoints new editor

This week sees the passing of the baton as Caring Times welcomes new editor Sam Lewis to the team.

As former editor Lee Peart moves onto pastures new, Caring Times has picked up another experienced journalist with care sector expertise.

Lewis has been covering social care for the last two years, and now moves into the position of editor at one of the most esteemed B2B magazines in the space.

After graduating with a master’s degree in magazine journalism, he has amassed several years of journalism experience, most recently in the B2B space and social care, and also has experience as both a personal assistant and unpaid carer for adults with disabilities.

He said: “It is an honour to join the Caring Times and wider Nexus Media Group team. I’ve had my eye on the company for a long time, thanks to its excellence in content and events production. It’s an enticing opportunity to continue the magazine’s strong history of working with politicians, as well as the biggest names in the sector.

“I’d like to extend a massive thank-you to Nexus for entrusting me with this historic publication. I look forward to taking it to new heights, and continuing my work with you, the people who make adult social care tick.”
